Dana Lasenby_CCO.pngDana Lasenby, Chief Clinical Officer, is a mental health professional with over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sector of behavioral health. Her career with DWIHN began in 2007 as an Administrator in the Utilization Management Unit. Recently, Dana has served DWIHN in several administrative capacities including interim CEO.

As Chief Clinical Officer, Dana is currently responsible for the oversight of the Access & Crisis Continuum System, Residential and Utilization Management.


Barika Butler MD.jpgBarika Butler, MD, Chief Medical Officer, is a double-board certified psychiatrist and founder of Peak Performance Global, specializing in personal, performance, and executive coaching.  She has served as Medical Director for Molina Health Care in Illinois and is Chief Medical Officer for the Behavioral Center of Michigan and Samaritan Behavioral Center.

Dr. Butler has previously served on several boards, including the Wayne State University School of Medicine Alumni Board of Governors, Michigan Dental Association Foundation and as advisor to the Board of Directors for Vista Maria.  Her civic involvement includes current membership in the Junior League of Detroit and Jack and Jill of America, among others.  She has been recognized with honors by the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Butler completed her undergraduate work in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan before earning her Doctorate of Medicine at Wayne State School of Medicine.  Dr. Butler is also a candidate for her Masters in Health Care Management from Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health in May of 2018.
