Darryl Woods, Jr.
Darryl Woods, Jr.,
Founder and CEO of a non-profit organization called, Fighting the Good Fight. The company’s mission is to bridge relationships between law enforcement and community members, returning citizens and youth through various initiatives that align with culturally relevant activities. It also provides mentoring for at-risk youth that are in the juvenile justice system.
Woods is currently rebuilding his life after being incarcerated for 28 years serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Fortunately, on the last day of the legislative calendar, Governor Rick Snyder commuted his sentence, allowing Woods to reunite with his family and continue to give back to his community by impacting the lives of young people through the message of transformation and hope.
