Trace
Karen Nash, is a Lincoln Park mom who has two sons with autism. Trace, her three-year-old, is non-verbal. While challenging, Karen has found support for her sons through Mimi’s Mission, a nonprofit organization that helps children and young adults with autism and their families.
Like most toddlers, Trace loves Paw Patrol, and enjoys going to the park with his mom and brother. Karen connected with DWIHN and received a 500 Dreams Come True mini grant to assist with the cost of membership to the Flat Rock Recreation Center to enroll Trace in swimming lessons. Karen says she is truly grateful for this opportunity for her son.
